Lunch at Bugsy's Bar and Bistro

Bugsy's Bar and Bistro is known for their Tapa.
I find their tapa delicious and juicy, that's the main reason why I always order it.
Aside from their Tapa, I have tried other dishes from their menu.

Little Asia at Venice Piazza

My new favorite restaurant near my workplace. The ambiance is homey with sophisticated oriental interiors. The staffs are very accommodating and friendly. The foods are great! Especially the Japanese Tofu and Kung Pao Chicken.. yumyum! However, the foods are pricey for an ordinary employee like me. Overall, it's one of the must try restaurants at Venice Piazza in McKinley Hills.

Dinner at Super Bowl of China after Krizzia's Mall tour

After a long walk and strolling from Market Market, Serendra, Bonifacio Hi-Street, The Fort, Glorietta 5, Glorietta 4, Landmark and Greenbelt. We had a chance to rest our feet and relax our body and indulge at Super Bowl of China located at Glorietta 4. The place ambiance is warm and cozy. The servers were very cheerful and accommodating, though their service is a bit slow.

Reyes BBQ at Market Market

A not so good dining experience for me. My tummy ached after I ate my dinner but my BF was OK at that time. I don't know if it was caused by the BBQ or the water that we requested. Anyhow, I will share my food experience with you my dear readers.

My order, two sticks of Pork BBQ. I love Reyes's Pork BBQ especially the peanut sauce. The meat is well cooked and easy to chew. The taste is yummy even though after eating it my tummy ached.. maybe because of the water, I didn't order for a mineral water.

My bf got Grilled Squid.Definitely this one is delicious, my bf's favorite order.

He's happy with his order

Lunch at Ying-Ying's Tea House

Another late post. It was a post valentine date with bf and shobe. We ate at Ying-Ying's Tea house at Binondo. It was my first time. When we arrive at the resto, it was full and there were a few waiting customers. I think we waited for 30 minutes before we got a seat. The place is a typical Chinese resto that you will find in Binondo.

The foods. My bf ordered Fried Squid. At first, I thought it is like a calamares with breadings but when it was served I was wrong. The taste is OK, masarap but its a bit oily.

The Crispy Lemon Chicken. The lemon sauce is OK but not the chicken. The chicken is not crispy seemed it was cooked a few hours ahead and maybe they just reheated it.

The Yang Chow Fried Rice. I like their version of Yang Chow. Yum!

The Hot and Sour Soup. Bf's favorite soup. This one is also OK.

Ying-Ying's Milk Tea. My new favorite. It's delicious for Php50.00.

The Shiao long pao. This is worth trying too. Yum!

The unknown dimsum.. ahahaha!  Sorry, I forgot the name. But this is also good. :)

Overall, I'm satisfied with our orders except for the Lemon Chicken. I will definitely come back to try their other foods.

Afternoon date at Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, Greenbelt 3 Branch

It was another date day with my bf @ Ayala center, Makati. Our agenda that day was shopping. We started our searched in SM mall, then Glorieta, and last in Landmark. Unfortunately, I couldn't find what I want. Me and my bf were so tired and hungry after strolling around the 3 malls. We wanted to eat. That time it was me who decide where to eat snack and it's my treat.  You read it right.. "it's my TREAT". My bf was surprised when I said that because he knows that I'm  "kuripot" just like him. Well, I just gave him a big smile! He didn't know I have a buy one take one breakfast set coupon from my Belle de Jour planner.. hahahha! So we went to Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf. I asked him what he want to eat and he said "ikaw na bahala".  And I smile again just like this ":D". I heard the magic words! hahahha!  I went to the counter and ordered our foods.

The Salmon Scramble (Php 229). I chose this because I already tried the Eggs Ben. The Salmon Scramble has Rosemary focaccia breads with smoke salmon, scramble eggs and a special dressing. It also has strawberry jam, butter and sweetened pruned fruits. The meal comes with a coffee or hot tea. I chose coffee. The taste? It's Yummy!!!

My coffee

The Break O'Day (Php 229). My bf's meal. It has panini breads, chicken sausage and scramble eggs. It also has strawberry jam and sweetened pruned fruits. My bf chose hot green tea for his drink. My bf's verdict.. it's yummy too!

Overall, we were very satisfied in our orders and it didn't hurt my pocket that much.. hahaha! Thank you Belle de Jour for the buy 1 take 1 coupon.

Will I come back to Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf again? Of course! I will try their Food for Thought breakfast set plus I still have a few coupons left.

Dinner at G Squared Palutuan, Dampa, Sucat

My Tito just arrived from other country. He and his wife invited my family to have dinner. My mom suggested to have dinner at Dampa in Sucat. In Dampa, there's a lot of palutuan to choose from. After several minutes of scouting, finally, they chose G Squared Palutuan. It is located at the 2nd floor. The place is homey and clean.

The foods. My Tito ordered Buttered Garlic Shrimp. This one is my favorite. I like the version of G Squared.. yummy! I ate a lot of shrimps.

Sinigang sa Miso na  Maya-maya. This also delicious. I liked the taste, a mix of sourness and sweetness with fresh fish and veggies.

The Fried Chicken. They ordered this for the 2 kids, Jajan and Catcat. It's 1/2 Kilo but  seems not. The taste, the usual home cook fried chicken.

The Grilled Squid. I was surprised by it's color.. kinda different. Maybe I'm just used to Gerry's grill version of Grilled Squid.  The taste, just plain grilled squid.

I will visit G Squared again to try their version of  Chili Garlic crabs and their other specialties. Thank you Tito Muroy and Tita Nor for the sumptuous dinner.
